Zhaomin Li

My name is Zhaomin Li, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science at the
University of Washington. I am broadly interested in the political economy of institutions,
information, and foreign direct investment, with a particular focus on authoritarian
regimes. My ongoing collaborative project investigates the role of meritocratic
institutions in authoritarian regimes. Methodologically, I employ a blend of formal
modeling and statistical analysis in my research.
