Tristan Ferry

Tristan Ferry is an MA student in the East Asia Studies program. Tristan earned his BA in Social Science from Portland State University, where he focused on history, geography, and urban studies. His research interests include historiography, intellectual history, and the philosophy of history, especially pertaining to questions of nationalism and modernity. During his free time, you can usually find Tristan reading philosophy, taking the train, listening to music, or pretending he knows how computers work.
