Steve Davis was recently an Executive Strategy Advisor with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and prior to that served as the Interim Director for the Foundation’s China Country Office. Steve is a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Steve served as co-chair of the World Health Organization’s Digital Health Technical Advisory Group and as a Distinguished Fellow at the World Economic Forum. He is a member of numerous boards and advisory committees including The Trinity Challenge and CHOOSE 180. He is also the former president & CEO of PATH, a leading global health innovation organization; former Director of Social Innovation at McKinsey & Company; former CEO of Corbis; and former attorney at the law firm now known as K&L Gates.

Steve holds degrees from Princeton University, University of Washington and Columbia Law School, and also studied at Beijing University. He speaks and writes regularly about the intersection of innovation, technology and social impact, and has extensive experience working with China.
