About
Alumna Qi Gan is the current director of the Chinese University Press.
Established in 1977 as the publishing house of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University Press is a non-profit organization devoted to the advancement, preservation and dissemination of knowledge, as well as the promotion of multi- cultural academic exchanges.
In recent years, the Press has broadened its scope to include titles on management, education, the social sciences, the natural sciences and medicine. The Press has now further expanded its publishing program to include electronic publications.
The Press has co- published titles with the world’s most influential academic publishers, universities and academic institutions. It has also entered into joint publication arrangements with commercial publishers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore, Taiwan, and others.
