Chaoying Li

Chaoying Li is an MA student in the China Studies Program. She is originally from Beijing, China, and earned a BA in Archaeology from Peking University. Her research interests lie in the interdisciplinary field of Chinese history and anthropology, with specific focuses on social memory, material culture, and human-thing entanglement in the late imperial period and contemporary times. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling around the world.
