Peter Crozier

I grew up in Norway and spent 4 years traveling and working around the world after college before settling in the US. After decades working in IT I have returned to my passion – exploring and understanding how people and countries interact. A year traveling through a tumultuous time in Africa, followed by the catastrophic breakup of Yugoslavia, sparked an interest in how people identify and interact at different political and social scales. When not reading and writing about climate change impacts on conflict in Southern Africa, I can be found in the North Cascades backpacking, skiing, and building and maintaining trails.
