About

Patrick Christie is a Professor in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies and in the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs. His interests are in the PVS and LRG fields. He is trained in marine biology and sociology. His research and teaching focus on biodiversity conservation and food security in Southeast Asia, Latin America and Washington State. He advises governments, donors and environmental organizations on how to establish equitable and effective conservation programs. He employs quantitative, qualitative and participatory research methods.
