About

Kayla is a second-year graduate student studying at the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs and the Jackson School of International Studies. Her research is focused on Indigenous climate change adaptation strategies in the Arctic, more specifically governance structures associated with international policy. Kayla is currently working as a Research Assistant on the NNA Co-Designing Civic Education for the Circumpolar North project with the Canadian Studies Center. Kayla enjoys spending time with her cat, Gilbert, and going on walks.
