About

Juliana is currently a Master’s student in International Studies at the Jackson School of International Studies and works as an assistant in administrative and social media support for the Taiwan Studies Program. Prior to joining UW, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies, specializing in Political, Economic and Environmental Challenges with a minor in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. While in her undergraduate degree, she studied Mandarin-Chinese and took part in the Puerto Rican Student Association and Chinese Language & Culture Club. She also studied at the Universitat de Barcelona, in which she received her CEFR Certification in Spanish & English proficiency and tutored Spanish to non-native Spanish speakers. In addition, she studied abroad at the Beijing Institute of Technology and Jilin University with the Confucius Institute of China in regards to her studies in Chinese socio-political and foreign policy affairs.
