The 2021 Global Studies Virtual Symposium was held on April 23, 2021.
Each year, the Symposium connects global studies scholars across campuses and offers an engaging teaching and learning forum for sharing best practices, ideas, and resources with colleagues.
This virtual one-day conference included presentations that focused on global perspectives, sustainable development, strategic leadership, and civic engagement, and offered the opportunity for participants to share highlights from respective campus global studies program/courses.
The Symposium is sponsored by Title VI National Resource Centers at the Center for Global Studies (CGS) – The Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, University of Washington and the Institute for Global Studies (IGS) – University of Minnesota, in collaboration with Green River College and Minneapolis Community & Technical College – School of Liberal Arts and Cultures.
