Dr. K.C. Hsiao was a renowned scholar of Chinese political science and history. He served as a faculty member of the Department of Far Eastern Languages and Literature at the University of Washington from 1949 to 1968, first as a visiting professor and then as a tenured professor.
The China Studies program is pleased to make available a compilation of tributes written for Dr. Hsiao after his passing in 1981. In this compilation, his colleagues and students celebrate his achievements in scholarship and art.
