The China Studies department is excited to announce that affiliate faculty member Luke Bergmann will publish a peer-reviewed monograph with other scholars in the field. It is titled Clear-Cutting Disease Control: Capital-led deforestation, public health austerity, and vector-borne infection.
An Assistant Professor in the Geography Department, Prof. Bergmann’s research concerns new ways to map the geographies of carbon emissions, land use, and human labor adequate to a globalizing world. You can read more about his work here.
