Jackson School Assistant Professor of International Studies, Vanessa Freije, has been awarded the American Historical Association’s (AHA) Eugenia M. Freije’s book, “Citizens of Scandal: Journalism, Secrecy, and the Politics of Reckoning in Mexico,” which was published by Duke University Press in Oct. 2020, explores the causes and consequences of political scandals in Mexico from the 1960s through the 1980s.
