The University of Washington’s Center for Human Rights (UWCHR) has released a new research report today on how law enforcement in various counties across the state continue to violate the Keep Washington Working Act, a law signed by Gov. Jay Inslee in 2019, which prohibits local jails from holding people for federal immigration officials unless a warrant is signed by a judge.
