Drawing from her experience as Executive Director of the nonprofit organization PeaceTrees Vietnam, Claire Yunker will provide an informative overview of nonprofit career pathways, including interfacing with foundations, embassies, and international NGOs.
Claire has over a decade of experience working in nonprofit administration and leadership, and has been involved with PeaceTrees Vietnam’s work in Humanitarian Mine Action for the last five years.
Claire joined PeaceTrees Vietnam in 2013 as Program and Operations Manager before becoming Deputy Director in October 2014. In her current role, Claire leads program development, strategy, operations, and advancement out of the Seattle office, and travels to Vietnam frequently. Prior to joining PeaceTrees Vietnam, Claire worked in direct service, program strategy, operations, and evaluation in both public and non-profit organizations. A committed advocate of peace and human rights, Claire has been honored to collaborate with partners locally and around the world in support of PeaceTrees Vietnam’s humanitarian work. Claire is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and the University of Washington Evans School of Public Affairs.
