UW’s College of Arts & Sciences Perspectives newsletter recently featured Marcy Migdal Fellow, Ishira Parikh, in “Inclusive Biology Lessons with a Global Reach.” Ishira is a major in both biology and disability studies and was a 2020 recipient of the Center for Global Studies’ Marcy MigdalFellowship for Educational Equality.
The award supports exceptional students engaged in activities aimed at enhancing access to education for vulnerable students, either locally or throughout the world, and helping them succeed in their education.
