JSIS professor David Fenner is passionate about international education and lifelong learning. An expert in Islam and Middle East conflicts, David reflects often on the wisdom he learned while living with a nomadic Bedouin tribe in Oman for a year and a half: “‘We Bedouin try to be quick to wonder, slow to judge, and keen to discover.’”
He recently spoke with UW Daily about the importance of ongoing discovery in a recent article, “Why learning doesn’t need to end with graduation.” Click the link to learn more.
