Associate Professor Mary Callahan was quoted in a New York Times article, “In China, Aung San Suu Kyi Finds a Warm Welcome (and No Talk of Rohingya),” published on Nov. 30, 2017. Callahan commented on a mediation plan by Wang Yi, China’s foreign minister, concerning the Rohingya minority crisis.

Callahan is an Associate Professor of International Studies at the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies. Her research and teaching interests have a particular emphasis on Political Reform in Post-Junta Constitutional Myanmar.
