Taiwan Studies Course Development Grants
The Taiwan Studies Program at the University of Washington is offering a grant for UW faculty to offer courses related to Taiwan. Courses do not have to focus exclusively on Taiwan, but must feature “Taiwan” in the course title. However, preference in funding will be given to courses that have a majority focus on Taiwan. The Taiwan Studies Program welcomes global, transnational, comparative, or area studies approaches from social science or humanities disciplines.
The course should be added to the official Time Schedule. The Program would also prefer courses that can be withered (temporarily cross-listed) with the Jackson School of International Studies. Funds may be disbursed as compensation (salary supplement) or research funds.
The deadline for the 2019 academic year has passed. We will update this page for future grants. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
