These include fellowships for students as well as support for the work of the Center.<\/p>\n<p><b>To donate,<\/b>\u00a0please visit the<b>\u00a0<\/b><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/giving\/make-a-gift\/?source_typ=3&amp;source=SASPDI,SOASIA,CONEND,INDIAA,SKRTDI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of Washington Foundation Page<\/a><\/strong><b>\u00a0<\/b>and support UW students working on South Asia and the work of the South Asia Center. Details on our various funds are below.<\/p>\n<h2>Friends of South Asia<\/h2>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">The South Asia Center relies exclusively on community support for many of our activities including the sponsorship of current affairs events, the hosting of Distinguished Visitors, and musical and artistic gatherings. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/giving\/make-a-gift\/?source_typ=3&amp;source=SASPDI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Friends of South Asia fund<\/a><\/strong> supports these activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">The 2015 &#8220;Voices of Partition&#8221; and visits by Gurcharan Das, Shyam Benegal and Hon. Since graduating in 2011, Brady has\u00a0been a Foreign Service Officer with the US Department of State.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;padding-left: 30px\">Our student fellowships include the<b>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/giving\/make-a-gift\/?source_typ=3&amp;source=CONEND\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Frank F. Conlon Fellowship in South Asian Studies<\/a><\/b>, which helps any graduate student working on South Asia who qualifies for financial aid to pursue their studies. Visit the\u00a0<a title=\"Funding\" href=\"https:\/\/jsis.washington.edu\/southasia\/resources\/funding\/\">Student Funding page<\/a>\u00a0for more information on the Conlon Fellowship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;padding-left: 30px\">We also award the<b>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/giving\/make-a-gift\/?source_typ=3&amp;source=INDIAA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">India Association of Western Washington Fellowship<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>to one undergraduate student and one graduate student annually. These awards go to outstanding students with a demonstrated interest in the study of South Asia.
