UW Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering Faisal Hossain has produced Cotton Fields From the Ivory Tower, a film on his work with farmers in Pakistan on using and adapting technology to better help them manage scarce water resources. Hossain has done similar work in Bangladesh, and has also started a film competition for engineers.
