Concentrations

The Program on Strategy, Policy and Diplomacy Research offers two academic concentrations.

The Technology and International Security Concentration (TISC) offers an opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to gain expertise and specialized knowledge of emerging threats and opportunities at the nexus of technology and international security. The goal is to prepare students from a wide range of disciplines for work in policy analysis and development.

The Qualitative Methods Concentration (QUAL) is a graduate concentration that focuses on qualitative research design, methods, and data analysis. Students  QUAL concentration is comprised of a mix of coursework, skill-based workshops and events with leading experts in social science research methods, students gain valuable qualitative research skills that can be useful in many areas of study.
