Rangel Fellowship Deadline: September 19th

July 5, 2016

The new deadline for the Rangel Graduate Fellowship is September 19th.

The Rangel aims to prepare outstanding young people for careers in the Foreign Service in which they can help formulate, represent and implement U.S. foreign policy.  It selects 30 outstanding Fellows annually and provides up to $47,500 towards tuition, room, board, books and fees for completion of two-year master’s degrees. This program encourages members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service and those with financial need to apply.  Fellows who successfully complete the program and Foreign Service entry requirements will receive appointments as Foreign Service Officers.

The Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards has advisers available all summer. Contact that office for encouragement and application assistance!
