About QUAL

By the Numbers

Since its inception in 2015 QUAL has been dedicated to connecting students, faculty and staff across the UW community. Within our first four years, we have:

  • 371 UW members engaged in the QUAL community
  • 27 graduate students trained with the qualitative methods concentration
  • 22 lectures hosted on qualitative methods in practice
  • 22 trainings delivered on qualitative data analysis

QUAL Concentration

14 graduate students have completed their degrees with a concentration from QUAL. An additional 13 graduate students are currently pursuing the concentration. These 27 students come from a variety of disciplines including Communication, Environment, International Studies, Law, Nursing, Political Science, Public Health, Sociology, and Social Work.
