Stephanie Selover is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Washington, Seattle. She received her B.A. in archaeology of complex societies from Stanford University, M.A. in ancient Anatolian archaeology for the University of Chicago, and her Ph.D. in the Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations department at the University of Chicago. Her academic experience includes a position as a Lecturer at West Virginia University and the University of Chicago. Selover teaches selected courses in the Archaeology of the Western Coast of Turkey, Ancient Near Eastern Thought and Literature, History of the Ancient Near East. Her research specializes in Warfare in the ancient Near East and the archaeology of ancient Anatolia and ancient Levant.
