Each summer, the MAAIS program hosts the International Strategic Crisis Negotiation Exercise in collaboration with the U.S. Army War College. This exercise allows students to role-play strategic negotiations as members of diplomatic teams from various countries in a specific, real-world scenario. Teams are coached by UW faculty and other experts, and a senior government official is brought in to act as mediator.
