LACS encourages students to remember that they are the agents of their own education. To that end, we encourage them to pursue opportunities to study in other countries of the Americas, explore internship opportunities with local businesses and non-profits that work in Latin America, and apply for scholarship that can support travel and study in Latin America. LACS is an important learning community at the UW, but we are also a portal for learning across the hemisphere and the world.<\/p>\n
