UW Alumna and Theater scholar Susan Finque made the discovery that prompted an international investigation

In an Oct. 3 Seattle Times Editorial Board article titled, “The public shouldn’t have to sue to get public information [seattletimes.com],” Angelina Godoy is quoted and the UW Center for Human Rights research and impact are featured for their recent lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In a July 11 UW Daily article titled, “Sexual abuse in privately operated ICE detention centers, digital prisons, and mass surveillance,” Angelina Godoy is quoted and the UW Center for Human Rights recent report “Calls to nowhere: Reports of sexual abuse and assault go unanswered at the NWDC,” highlighted.
