Over the course of two days, his lectures focused on the architectural aspects and actions that could be taken to help contribute to this vision.<\/p>\n<p>His first lecture\u2014entitled &#8220;Crafting Communities\u2014was held on April 13th.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/168027244?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen title=\"Kengo Kuma: UW Department of Architecture and UW Japan Studies, part 1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>His second lecture\u2014&#8221;Urban Regeneration&#8221;\u2014took place the following day on April 14th.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/167995147?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen title=\"Kengo Kuma: UW Department of Architecture and UW Japan Studies, part 2\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Kengo Kuma is principal of Kengo Kuma and Associates, established in 1990 with offices in Tokyo, Paris, and Beijing. He is also Professor at the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Architecture.<\/p>\n<p>The event was sponsored by UW Japan Studies, Henry M.
