Materials include reference books, monographs, periodicals, databases, maps, course books, microfilm, microfiche, videos and DVDs. All areas in which teaching and research take place at the university are well represented and materials in western languages relating to Japan studies are located throughout the university library system.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, W.H. Gates Hall manages one of the most extensive <strong>Japanese law collections in North America<\/strong>, and provides over one hundred current print law journals and a variety of research monographs on law. Also available is the online service <i>Westlaw Japan<\/i> for full-text decisions of Japanese courts. Tadoku books are designed for all levels of Japanese learners and provide an excellent means of improving Japanese literacy through the enjoyment of reading. There is also a Tadoku Club that meets regularly.
