NATALIA PEREZ JARAMILLO<\/strong>, PETER MACK AND JAMIE MAYERFELD FELLOW<\/a>, DR. LISA SABLE BROWN FELLOW<\/a><\/p>\n

Natalia Perez Jaramillo is a Ph.D. student in the School of Law. With support from the Peter Mack & Jamie Mayerfeld and Lisa Sable Brown funds, she will work to develop the foundations of heightened legal protections for Colombian Indigenous women who defend their land.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"Ashfaq,<\/p>\n

ASHFAQ AHMED<\/span>, PETER MACK AND JAMIE MAYERFELD FELLOW<\/a><\/p>\n

Ashfaq Ahmed is a Ph.D. student in the Jackson School of International studies. With support from the Peter Mack & Jamie Mayerfeld fund, Ashfaq will examine the way state institutions shape and undermine rights in Indian-occupied Kashmir.<\/p>\n

\"Torin,<\/p>\n

TORIN BURNS<\/strong>, ABE OSHEROFF AND GUNNEL CLARK FELLOW<\/a><\/p>\n

Torin Burns is a Master\u2019s student studying Libraries and Information Science. With support from the Abe Osheroff & Gunnel Clark fund, Torin will pursue accountability for harms caused by the U.S. government\u2019s secretive nuclear testing in the Marshall Islands during the Cold War.<\/p>\n

ANIKA MEHTA<\/strong>, JENNIFER CALDWELL FELLOW<\/a><\/p>\n

Anika is a senior majoring in law, societies & justice and comparative history of ideas. As a Jennifer Caldwell fellow, Anika continues her research at the Center for Human Rights monitoring state immigrant rights laws.<\/p>\n
