\"\"Radhika Govindrajan, director of the South Asia Center and associate professor at the Jackson School and Department of Anthropology, has been awarded an\u00a0Honorable Mention in the 2021 Diana Forsythe Prize<\/a>\u00a0for her book, \u201cAnimal Intimacies:\u00a0Interspecies Relatedness in India\u2019s Central Himalayas<\/a>\u201d (University of Chicago Press, 2018) by the\u00a0American Anthropological Association.<\/p>\n

The Forsythe prize is given to the best books in the feminist anthropology of science by\u00a0the Committee for Science, Technology, and Computing of the American Anthropological Association.\u00a0The award will be presented to Govindrajan in late November during the Association\u2019s annual conference.<\/p>\n

The book has already received numerous awards.
