In this virtual exchange pedagogy, instructors from two or more institutions agree to overlap a portion of their existing courses, creating a multi-cultural environment in which students complete shared assignments and projects with peers abroad.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/div>\n<div><u><\/u>\u00a0<u><\/u><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Global Initiatives at UW Bothell, in partnership with the Office of Global Affairs at UW Tacoma, offers a supported\u00a0way to build out a <span class=\"il\">COIL<\/span> course collaboration through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tacoma.uw.edu\/oga\/coil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"il\">COIL<\/span> Fellows Program<\/a>, providing structured training, a community of practice, and $1,000 in course development funding.\u00a0<b>Faculty interested in developing a course collaboration with an international partner are invited to apply for the\u00a02022 <span class=\"il\">COIL<\/span> Fellowship<\/b>\u00a0<b>by\u00a0<strong>Friday, November 12, 2021<\/strong><\/b>.
