International Negotiation Simulation on the EU<\/h2>\n

In Fall 2022, UW students have an opportunity to register for an exciting course sponsored by the European Union’s Erasmus+\u00a0Programme and the UW Center for Global Studies.<\/p>\n

\n

This class\u00a0is a practicum focused on the current, real-world policy issues and international negotiations of the European Union, as well as the theory of international negotiation, public policy and the politics surrounding policy formation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Participants will research and write in small groups to prepare policy documents on a current international issue, and engage in\u00a0simulated negotiations with students representing different nations, following instructions from and reporting to national leaders.<\/p>\n
