View a list of <a href=\"https:\/\/jsis.washington.edu\/uwasdg\/criteria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grant proposal criteria and definitions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The 2021 competition prioritized proposals that<strong> emphasized concrete strategies and plans to address inclusion, equity, and accessibility in a course.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399\">Award Categories:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Development of new module to an existing course: up to $2,000<\/li>\n<li>Complete revision of an existing course: up to $3,000<\/li>\n<li>Development of a new course: up to $4,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div>\n<div>Successful applicants received the award upon delivery of a revised or new syllabus or module plan and formal confirmation of the quarter and year that the course will be taught. Successful applicants were also asked to provide a confirmation of course status during the first week of the quarter in which it is taught. This included information for course enrollment, mode of delivery and other pertinent updates.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Courses that were not be taught by the end of the 2021-22 academic year were not eligible for consideration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>*This grant views Asia in broad terms. Applicable countries include: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tibet, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Viet Nam.
