Course Description: Provides an interdisciplinary understanding of the causes, characteristics, and consequences of forced migration experiences across the global system. Explores how international policy makers, humanitarian workers, and scholars have constructed forced migration as a problem for analysis and action, including some of the ethical dilemmas involved.
The class meets ASYNCHRONOUS. Lectures will be recorded and posted for students who cannot participate live. QZ section meets SYNCHRONOUS on Thursdays. Please see QZ sections JSIS 441 AA or JSIS 441 AB.
