The Executive Master of International Studies (formerly, the Master of Arts in Applied International Studies, MAAIS) is offered by the University of Washington’s Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, a leader in global area studies and among the top international programs in the world. It was founded in 1909. Students acquire practical skills and expand their intellectual horizons through a multidisciplinary curriculum. By integrating a hands-on experience with the latest research and theory, EMIS graduates become goal makers to the globe.
