More than 110 choral, rock, and folk songs are translated and interpreted in poetic, cultural, and historical context.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ellisoncenter.washington.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Power_of_Song.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-769 alignright\" alt=\"The Power of Song\" src=\"http:\/\/ellisoncenter.washington.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Power_of_Song-200x300.gif\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>&#8220;<em>The Power of Song<\/em> serves not only as the quintessential study of what constitutes the heart of the remarkable and inspiring movements of the Baltic people, it will stand as a distinct contribution to the study of civil resistance movements overall.&#8221;
