Ellison Center Statement on the war in Ukraine<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ellison Center condemns the Russian Federation\u2019s invasion of Ukraine as a violation of that country\u2019s sovereignty as well as its flagrant disregard of international laws and norms. As an institution that embodies the principles of pluralism and evidence-based academic inquiry, the Center also condemns President Vladimir Putin\u2019s blatantly self-serving distortions of Ukraine\u2019s past and present. We stand with the Ukrainian people, along with those who act to advance the causes of democracy, rule of law, and human rights.<\/p>\n
