The Spomenik Database, compiled by Donald Niebyl, is an online destination to\u00a0view photos of the mysterious Spomenik monuments of the former Yugoslavia, as well as a place to learn their history, their meaning, their current condition and exactly how to find them. Within each spomenik profile page, Niebyl includes a compilation of photographs he took of the sculpture, the translations he made of their inscriptions, the stories he uncovered and the mysteries he solved.
