Susanna Haley is Program Coordinator and Jean Monnet Outreach Coordinator at the UW’s Ellison Center for Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies and the Center for West European Studies. She graduated from UW in 2020 with a B.A. in European Studies, with an area focus of Germany and Italy. Her senior thesis, titled “Yes to Europe, No to Europe:” Satire’s New Relationship with Politics, focused on these countries while exploring the correlations between satire and modern politics. Susanna has a background in program and event coordination from her previous administrative roles for the Manhattan String Quartet’s KentMusic Conferences. She is also a professional violinist and violist, and is based in the greater Seattle area.
