It was held in tandem with the Academic WorldQuest program, which had a focus on Japan in this year\u2019s module. During this workshop teachers discussed how to educate students on diversity and make interdisciplinary connections when teaching global perspectives. Lectures detailed the development of the The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Center, how to engage youth through Japanese popular culture into global issues, and a discussion of how to foster foreign language education. The workshop also introduced teaching ideas and activities to help students explore historical connections between Japan and Montana.
