It was facilitated by <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.jsis.washington.edu\/earc\/people\/mary-roberts\/\">Mary Barber Roberts.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This past series was titled, \u201cAsian Textiles Across Time and Place\u201d. This series was inspired by the &#8220;amazing array of textile arts, textile manufacturing and fashion originating from Asia&#8221; being &#8220;shared globally in new ways&#8221; (excerpts from the Gardner Center Website).<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2586 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/jsis.washington.edu\/earc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2018\/03\/WAA-SAM-300x172.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"172\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each Saturday, educators attended the public lecture from 10:00 &#8211; 11:30 a.m. and then met for a writing workshop from 11:30 a.m &#8211; 2:00 p.m.\u00a0 During the workshop, time was given to solitary writing in response to the morning lecture. The group then reconvened to share working drafts.
