Somini Sengupta tells the stories of communities and landscapes most vulnerable to the effects of climate change \u2014 reporting from the front lines of the climate crisis, and recently focusing more and more on both China and the United States\u2019 converging interests on global warming. Sengupta is the recipient of a George Polk Award for foreign reporting, as well as awards from the National Association of Black Journalists, the New York Newswomen\u2019s Club and the United Nations Correspondents Association. Her book, “The End of Karma: Hope and Fury among India\u2019s Young” was published in 2016 by W.W. Norton.<\/p>\n
