This year&#8217;s theme\u00a0focused on \u201cfake news,\u201d disinformation, and media literacy.<\/p>\n<p>In total, 28 participants from 14 community colleges in Washington State and Oregon, specializing in a diverse group of disciplines, gathered to learn how to incorporate innovative ideas and insights into their existing curricula. Participants developed practical activities to bring back to the classroom and had opportunities to network with colleagues.
