Qiyi Wu

Qiyi Wu is an industrial design student attending the University of Washington. As a growing designer, she strives to make creative and sustainable designs relevant to small space living and furniture. Minoring in Chinese, she is interested in the architectural styles of ancient traditional buildings in southeast asia, especially Chinese and Japanese buildings utilizing traditional carpentry. Before attending UW Qiyi studied four years of Japanese and went on to study Chinese, Korean and Spanish at the UW. With strong interests in woodworking, she aims to blend more traditional southeast asian woodworking techniques into her furniture making.
