CACCWA is a nonprofit, operated under IRS 501c (3) tax exempt status. From 2021 to now, CACCWA manages approximately $340K in grant monies from public and private sectors. Major projects include: Small Business Resiliency Network, Digital Navigator Program, Labor &amp; Industries Small Business Project, and Community Scholarship Program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Council is looking for a <strong>temporary part-time Assistant Program Coordinator<\/strong> to work with the executive director and team leader(s) in training and disseminating information to the Cambodian community, including business communities across the State of Washington. The Assistant Program Coordinator&#8217;s job is to support CACCWA\u2019s project efforts &#8211; develop program and outreach materials, organize and conduct outreach events. This position reports to the Executive Director. The position will last approximately 3 months or one academic quarter, and may be extended subject to grant fund availability. <strong>Hourly rate is $18\/hour.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Specific tasks include:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Write a report about the Cambodian community in Washington State<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assist executive director in meeting all grant\/contract deliverables<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assist in workshop design and delivery<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assist in disseminating information to Cambodian business entities in Washington State\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assist in developing materials including flyers, slide presentation, handouts, and informational booklets and resources.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assist in promoting CACCWA\u2019s values \u2013 cultural preservation, respect, collaboration, service, inclusiveness, mutual sustainability, and technology.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Perform other tasks as assigned by the executive director or their designee.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><strong>Minimum requirements:<\/strong><\/em> Must be a current UW student. Must be an undergraduate senior or graduate\/professional student. Must be familiar with social media.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><strong>Preferred qualifications:<\/strong><\/em> Ability to speak Khmer or another Southeast Asian language is preferred but not required.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Must have reliable transportation.
