Yuanyang Mao

Yuanyang is a Chinese international student from Beijing, China. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies at Penn State University, with a minor in History, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in China Studies at the University of Washington. His academic journey is deeply rooted in exploring the historical and political dimensions of East Asia, particularly focusing on Maoist China and the complex interactions between Ming China and Japan. Beyond his academic pursuits, he aspires to work in NGOs, think tanks, or consulting firms, where he can leverage his knowledge to inform policy and strategy.
