Lingshu is a MA student in China Studies. She is originally from Shenyang, China and gained her bachelor’s degree in Beijing, China, and before coming to Seattle, lived and studied in Boston for two years. The history of missionary activities fascinates her. In her previous research, she was engaged in how Christianity adapted to Chinese society and how missionaries shaped and were shaped by the relations between China and other countries. Lingshu received her bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Minzu University in China and her first master’s degree in theological studies from Boston University.
