Jiashan Song

Jiashan Song is an MA student in the China Studies program. She is originally from Beijing, China. Jiashan has triple majored in Asian Studies, economics, and Japanese and received her BA from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. Currently, her research interest is modern China’s urban development and is focused on the art colony in Beijing. Jiashan invests most of her leisure time in her friends, books, as well as on social media platforms. She is also dedicated to the preservation of Chinese traditional culture; in 2019 she passed the examination and has been issued the teaching qualification for Guqin (Chinese Zither Lute).
